What does a normal day look like for you?
In my role as Sales Administrator, I support many of the important day to day processes that keep the business running smoothly. As well as administration and data handling, I act as a key point of contact for Eco Flexibles customers, ensuring orders that come in are handled quickly and efficiently.
What do you love about working at Eco Flexibles?
For me, it’s how the company makes it easy for brands to ‘do the right thing’ putting the focus on material circularity. I love what we’re doing, and how much our customers appreciate it. Changing packaging lines can be a complex task, particularly when there’s multiple SKUs to handle. However, our wonderful team takes care of everything, from the initial design and concept stage, through to all relevant testing and accreditation, production and delivery.
Although I’d never worked in the packaging industry prior to joining Eco Flexibles, I’ve had a fantastic education on how this market is changing, and a crash course of what packaging excellence looks like. The business is made up of experienced packaging professionals with years of combined experience. This has been a fantastic opportunity to learn about the future of packaging from people that have been on the front line for years. Working at Eco Flexibles also gives you an appreciation of packaging when you see it lining the supermarket shelves, because now I know about the work that goes on behind the scenes to make it.
What excites you about the flexible packaging delivered by Eco Flexibles?
For me, the single most exciting thing about Eco Flexibles flexible packaging solutions is knowing that what we do here is making a big difference. We can all see the change happening around us as brands of every size focus on circularity and ensuring as much packaging as possible is recycled.
I love knowing that the packaging our team is developing and producing is designed for recyclability, rather than ending up in landfill, harming the environment, or in incinerators.
